Chemistry Paper Draws Controversy

The editor of the journal Analytical Chemistry has taken the highly unusual step of printing "a word of caution" about a controversial paper on silicone breast implants that appeared in the May 1 issue of the journal, saying in a printed editorial that the paper should not have been published as is.
