Cheating Scandal Hits Dental Students at UNLV

Ten dental students at the University of Nevada at Las Vegas used a faculty member’s password to certify that they had conducted clinical rounds, and have received a range of punishments, according to an investigative report by the Nevada System of Higher Education that was described in The Rebel Yell, the campus’s student newspaper. The students were suspended for 30 days, must perform 1,500 hours of community service in an area lacking adequate medical care, and may not receive their degrees on time.
