Cheating Scam Hits Key Test in South Korea
The South Korean police have arrested six high-school seniors and issued arrest warrants for six others for masterminding a cheating scheme that used cellphones to share answers to the national college-placement examination, held in November.
More than 140 high-school students and 7 university students in Kwangju were implicated in the attempt to cheat. One student told local reporters that the actual number was closer to 240 students.
