Changes Proposed for Grant Programs
The U.S. Department of Education proposed rules changes in several major student-aid programs last week aimed at streamlining the disbursement of aid.
The changes were drafted through a series of negotiations with a panel of representatives of the Education Department, colleges, higher-education associations, and businesses.
