Change in Microsoft License May Force Thousands at Wisconsin to Hit Delete Key
This summer, thousands of students and faculty members at the University of Wisconsin at Madison will have to either pay more for some Microsoft products or delete the software from computers they own. University officials say they can no longer afford to license software for everyone associated with the university after its current Microsoft license expires in July.
