Census Counts on Help From College Housing Staffs

In Times Square, the Census Bureau kicks off a road tour to promote its national head count. On college campuses, students will be asked to fill out forms for the census.
As the nationwide head count nears, the U.S. Census Bureau is already visiting campuses to prepare for its main push in April.
The bureau is working with colleges to assure that every student living on a campus in the United States is counted, with the help of both housing-staff members and institutional-directory information, which colleges can disclose without students' consent. Colleges, however, must tell parents and students about the directory information and give them time to
