Carnegie Mellon U. Will Offer Online Programming Classes in India
Carnegie Mellon University announced last month that it plans to offer courses in computer programming in India via the Internet. University officials said the program would be the first Internet-based, teacher-led certification effort in computer programming available throughout the Indian subcontinent.
Software-development courses will be available through a partnership of Carnegie Technology Education, a nonprofit subsidiary of Carnegie Mellon, and the India-based technology company
