Carnegie Classification of Arts-and-Sciences Colleges, New and Old

Following is a list of the institutions in the "Baccalaureate-Arts and Sciences" category in 2005, along with their classification in 2000.

This category includes those institutions where bachelor's degrees accounted for at least half of all undergraduate degrees, and at least half of bachelor's degrees were in the arts and sciences in 2003-4. In addition, these institutions awarded fewer than 50 master's degrees in 2003-4.
