Candidates Urged to Focus on Education
With the presidential election looming, six major higher-education associations have sent a joint letter to the campaigns of President Bush and Sen. John Kerry, urging the candidates to speak out about key areas in which the federal government could play a role in strengthening the nation's colleges.
