Canadian Universities No Bargain, Study Finds
The price of a higher education in Canada is not as much of a bargain as it used to be, according to a report released this month that compares public-university affordability in Canada and the United States. While the average cost in Canada is about 25 percent less than in the United States, American students receive 30 percent more in grant aid and have access to significantly more student loans than do Canadian students.
