Canadian Secretary Spied on Professors

The head of the Canadian Association of University Teachers has demanded a meeting with the Canadian spy agency after a retired university secretary revealed that she had been an undercover agent.

The secretary told a newspaper in October that she had spied on her bosses -- two eminent professors of geology at the University of Toronto -- for four years, from 1986 to 1990.
