Canadian Officials Question Thumbprint Requirement for Law-School Test
Privacy authorities in Canada are investigating whether collecting thumbprints of people who take the Law School Admission Test violates Canadian law.
The test, known as the LSAT, is administered by the Law School Admission Council, a Pennsylvania-based nonprofit organization with more than 200 member law schools in the United States and Canada. Most Canadian law schools require the test for admission.
