Canada Seeks More Foreign Students
The Canadian government announced this month several changes in immigration policy that could help its colleges and universities recruit more students from other countries.
The foreign students will be allowed to work off campus and to transfer among institutions without having to change their study permits. They will also be able to work in Canada for two years after graduation instead of the current one year, provided that they do not take jobs in Montreal, Toronto, or Vancouver.
