Canada Creates an Online-Learning Committee
Fearing that Canadian institutions are being left behind in the race to offer distance education, the Canadian government and a group representing provincial education ministers have created a national Advisory Committee for Online Learning.
The committee is led by David Johnston, president of the University of Waterloo, in Waterloo, Ontario.
