Campus Police Use Stun Gun on UCLA Student in Library Incident

Police officers at the University of California at Los Angeles shocked a student with an electric stun gun last night in a campus library after the student allegedly refused to produce identification proving that he was a UCLA student and therefore entitled to use the library, the Daily Bruin reported. The incident, which occurred at 11:30 p.m., was witnessed by dozens of students, some of whom attempted to intervene but were intimidated by the police officers. At least one student captured the scene on his cellphone camera, and the recording has been making the rounds on the Internet.
