A former campus police officer at the University of Kentucky has sued the institution, saying she was fired after she refused to try to get an administrator’s ticket dismissed. Stephanie Bastin, a former assistant police chief, is seeking compensatory and punitive damages, according to the Herald-Leader, a newspaper in Lexington, Ky. The lawsuit does not identify the administrator by name or title.
