Campus 911 Service Pinpoints Origin of Emergency Calls, but at a Price
Regional telephone companies have begun offering a service that lets 911 operators pinpoint the location of emergency calls made from campus extensions, and some colleges have been quick to sign up.
But the cost and extra record keeping are apparently giving others pause.
