Cambridge U. Gets Professional In-House Money Manager
The chief investment officer at one of the world's largest hedge-fund companies will soon become the first professional in-house money manager at a British university.
Nick Cavalla will manage $2.33-billion in assets for the University of Cambridge, his alma mater, beginning in April 2007, the institution announced last week. He works at Man Global Strategies, in London, and will continue with the company as a member of its investment board.
