California Virtual University Will End Most of Its Operations
Eight months after it was spun off from the state government, California Virtual University is ceasing operations as an independent organization with a mission of promoting distance-education to students and professors.
C.V.U. will, however, retain a presence on the Internet. For now, the University of California Board of Regents has agreed to maintain C.V.U.'s searchable World-Wide Web site (http://www.california.edu), which lists
