California Legislature Takes Up Bills to Limit Colleges' Use of Social Security Numbers
In the wake of a former student's admission that he stole the identities of students at the University of California at Riverside, the California Legislature is considering bills that would bar colleges in the state from using Social Security numbers to identify students.
