California Art Colleges Discuss Possible Merger
The boards of two leading art colleges in the San Francisco area -- the California College of Arts and Crafts and the San Francisco Art Institute -- voted last month to explore merging the institutions. If the merger took place, it would create the largest independent art college in the West and one of the largest outside New York City.
