Calif. Medical School Revamps Its Board
The Charles R. Drew University of Medicine & Science, in Los Angeles, is reducing the size of its Board of Trustees and replacing about half of the members in an effort to overhaul the struggling institution.
Trustees voted this month to eliminate 15 of their 23 members. Those remaining will select about a dozen new trustees with expertise in areas including business, law, and fund raising.
