Calif. Lawsuit Opposes Immigrant-Tuition Law
Out-of-state students at California's public colleges have gone to state court to challenge a law that allows some illegal immigrants to pay lower in-state tuition rates. Their lawsuit also seeks hundreds of millions of dollars in damages from the state's three public-college systems.
The students who brought the lawsuit last month are U.S. citizens who attend, or who recently attended, campuses of the University of California, California State University, and California's community
