Cal. Student-Aid Commission Plans New Loan Agency
California's Student Aid Commission is ending its relationship with EdFund, the state's student-loan-guarantee agency, and will create a non-profit corporation to take its place. That new corporation will take over the agency.
The decision came after months of bickering over the autonomy of the nation's second-largest guarantee agency.
