Cal State at Fullerton Rehires Lecturer After Compromising on State Loyalty Oath
A simmering dispute over whether a lecturer at California State University at Fullerton could teach there without signing a loyalty oath required of state employees by California's Constitution has been taken off the boil by an agreement announced last week.
In the oath, state employees swear to "support and defend the Constitution of the United States and the Constitution of the State of California against all enemies, foreign and domestic."
