Cadets Guard Computer Systems in Network-Defense Exercise

Students at the United States service academies and the Naval Postgraduate School are learning firsthand the challenge of protecting computer networks.

Last month, the students sparred with computer-security experts from the U.S. military and government in the second annual Cyber-Defense Exercise, sponsored by the Department of Defense and the National Security Agency.
