CUNY Earns Praise for Ties With Schools

The City University of New York and public schools in New York City have made rapid progress over the past 16 months in forging closer ties, according to a report released this month by a New York-based policy institute.

In its study, "Building a Highway to Higher Ed," the Center for an Urban Future praises CUNY and school administrators for expanding the "College Now" program for high-school juniors and seniors. CUNY officials have instituted the program, which provides remediation
