Buying Into Big War Chests: Liability Insurance for Professors
Several of the nation's major education associations offer liability insurance to members, usually for an extra fee. (See main article.) The policies generally cost less than a few hundred dollars annually and offer large payouts for legal expenses and court judgments in the event the educator is sued.
