Business Schools Report Big Increase in Hiring
Business schools in the United States went on a hiring binge this year, adding 21 per cent more faculty members than were hired last year, according to a survey released last month.
The 399 schools that responded to the survey both years hired a total of 1,589 new faculty members this year. The increase for 1998-99 follows last year's 18-per-cent jump, according to the survey, which was conducted by the
