Bush's 2005 Budget Runs Into Trouble on Capitol Hill
Several parts of President Bush's proposed spending plan for the 2005 fiscal year got their first airing on Capitol Hill last week, and the reviews by some members of Congress, including many Republican lawmakers, were not favorable.
At a hearing on the president's plan to give $250-million in federal funds to community colleges for job training, some Republicans voiced concerns that the proposal was too costly and that the money would go to institutions
