Bush's Fiscal 2008 Budget for Higher Education and Science

With a few exceptions, amounts in President Bush's budget for the 2008 fiscal year are compared with sums appropriated by Congress in 2006 because legislators have not finished working on appropriations bills for most federal agencies for 2007. Agencies that have 2007 budgets are shown at the end of the table and show a one-year comparison. All numbers and percentage changes are rounded.
