Bush Administration Offers Its Proposals for Renewing the Higher Education Act
The Bush administration has sent Congress a set of recommendations for revamping the student-aid programs governed by the Higher Education Act.
While there was little new in the package, it provided greater details about proposals that President Bush had included as part of his budget request for the 2006 fiscal year for renewing, or reauthorizing, the law, which expires this year.
