Bulger Seeks Larger Pension
William M. Bulger's tenure as president of the University of Massachusetts system may be over, but he continues to cause controversy.
Mr. Bulger, who resigned under fire this month after seven and a half years on the job, has asked the state to include his annuity and housing allowance as part of his income when calculating his pension. If those items are included, his pension would rise by about $32,000, to $230,000 annually. The state pension board is expected to review the request
