Bulgaria Issues List of Diseases That Can Disqualify University Applicants
Government officials in Bulgaria have infuriated students and health professionals by publishing a list of 79 diseases and conditions that universities may use to disqualify people from taking entrance examinations.
The list includes heart disease, AIDS, and missing fingers. The health and education ministries jointly prepared the list.
