Budget Resolution Offers No Boost for Student Aid
The budget resolution that Congress approved last week does not include a provision, which is in the original Senate version of the legislation, calling on lawmakers to provide generous increases in the amount of federal aid available to college students in fiscal 2000 (The Chronicle, April 2).
