British Student Charged in Terror Plot
A 22-year-old biochemistry student at London Metropolitan University, who is a former president of the institution's Islamic Society, is among the suspects charged by British authorities in connection with an alleged terrorist plot against trans-Atlantic flights.
Waheed Zaman is one of eight men who were charged last week with conspiracy to murder and with a newly created offense of "preparing acts of terrorism."
