British Report Calls for Fund-Raising Emphasis
British universities must put more emphasis on fund raising and look to American universities as examples, a new government report concludes.
"Increasing Voluntary Giving to Higher Education," which was commissioned by the Department for Education and Skills and produced by an independent task force, encourages universities to share information on development activity and suggests that the government provide tax incentives to increase donations.
