Brainstorming a Better Admissions System

At the Education Conservancy's first summit, college deans and counselors grappled with their mission

Of all the questions crammed into Lloyd Thacker's head, none is bigger than the one he put to admissions deans and high-school counselors here on a Thursday morning in June: "Who's in charge?"
