Bowing to Student Protests, 3 Universities Will Join Anti-Sweatshop Consortium
Another set of student protests on the sweatshop issue, another set of universities caving in to their demands.
Administrators at three institutions in the Big Ten Conference -- Indiana University at Bloomington, the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor, and the University of Wisconsin at Madison -- said they would conditionally join the Worker Rights Consortium, a group that student activists say will help ensure that apparel with college logos is not produced
