Bowie State U. President Resigns Under Fire
Nathanael J. Pollard, Jr., resigned last month as president of Bowie State University, amid scrutiny by the University System of Maryland for alleged financial mismanagement.
Mr. Pollard, who had held the office since 1994, declined to comment. He submitted his resignation to the chairman of the university system's Board of Regents after a meeting of the group.
