Boston University Agrees to Settlement

Boston University has agreed to new policies on conflicts of interest and the selection of trustees, ending a year of scrutiny into BU by the Attorney General of Massachusetts.

The settlement removed the threat of a lawsuit against the university by the Attorney General's office, and concluded an investigation into business practices at BU and into financial dealings between the institution and its trustees and key officers.
