Boston College Expects to Establish Group to Support Gay Students
Boston College is likely to become the latest major Roman Catholic university to establish a student organization that offers support to gay students.
In a letter to the president of the student government last month, the college's president expressed support for a proposed alliance of gay and straight students. But "certain issues" must be resolved before the college grants such a group recognition, the Rev. William P. Leahy said.
