Bomb Threat Closes U. of Missouri at Rolla
The University of Missouri at Rolla canceled classes for one day last week and urged students and employees to stay off the campus after a student with a bag containing a white powdery substance told police officers he had a bomb and anthrax.
At 2:30 a.m. last Tuesday, the university's police department responded to a call made by someone trying to sound like a woman, said Scott A. Grahl, spokesman for the City of Rolla. The caller warned about a student threatening "terrorist type"
