Black Males at CUNY

I strongly support the City University of New York's concept of a Black Male Initiative to increase the meager presence of males of African descent at CUNY and to institute measures to increase their chances for success once they matriculate ("Civil-Rights Group Challenges CUNY's Efforts to Help Black Men," The Chronicle, April 28).
