Black-College Chiefs Discuss Needs and Goals
If historically black colleges are to thrive in the next two decades, they will need to step up recruitment of students, work more closely with schools and other colleges, and develop stronger programs in engineering and other high-technology fields, presidents of several of the institutions said at a White House-sponsored symposium last week.
