Black Academics Seek to Apply Scholarship to Problems in Black Neighborhoods
Since last year, Brothers of the Academy has nearly doubled its membership -- to 250 black male scholars. It has also held a meeting that it called its first think tank, and is planning a new publication, to be called The Journal of the Professoriate.
