David Glenn's "Blood Feud" (The Chronicle, March 3), on the continuing accusations about research that I conducted with my biomedical colleagues among Amazonian peoples, is one-sided. ... It relies heavily on current and past assertions from a small group of activist anthropologists who, for example, make claims about the alleged "horror" the Yanomami (who call themselves Yanomamö, contrary to the style used by The Chronicle) express when told that blood samples
