Biology Should Not Be Destiny for Women

Kathryn Lynch's essay exhorting women to hurry up and breed during graduate school is antifeminist and homophobic, in spite of its claims that it is merely directed toward young women who already know that they want both children and an academic career ("An Immodest Proposal: Have Children in Graduate School," The Review, June 7).
