Biologist With Contrarian View of AIDS Raises Private Funds to Support His Lab
Friends of Peter H. Duesberg, a biologist at the University of California at Berkeley who holds unorthodox views about the cause of AIDS, have saved his laboratory from being closed by raising money from an unusual source -- private donations.
