Binge Drinking With Friends

Kenneth A. Bruffee ties binge drinking on college campuses to the need for friendship and sociability, and suggests "collaborative learning" as one approach to the problem ("Binge Drinking as a Substitute for a 'Community of Learning,'" Opinion, February 5).
